6 months later
(Lian Collins opened her first physical store for her pastry business. She had moved from her former apartment as well, so she could be closer to her store.
She was going for her usual morning jog when she met George).

Wait, isn't that George?.
"Hey, h..hi George". I waved and jogged closer.

"Hi Lian, good to see you ".
Okay that's new, the cold human is awfully friendly.
"You live around here?". He asked

"No, yes, sorry, I moved in a month ago, my business is closer so..yeah, my apartment is just two houses away, down the street".

He looks good still, just thinner, a lot thinner.
"Well, what are you doing here, if I can remember, your house is on the farther side of the street".

"I came out for a walk, get some air".

"Some air, and you walked this far, y'all don't have air in your estate?" .

"Haha, funny, but yeah, I do this most of the time. Truthfully I forget myself while walking and just walk and walk".
I could hear the emptiness in his voice, infact, regret, and sadness, just a few to mention.

"I'm sorry". I said without thinking.
"Why, for what?". George looked surprised.
"That you have to go through whatever that is bothering you, if you want to talk, I'll listen".
And..silence, I'm not sure I said something wrong, maybe I shouldn't have said that. But ..

"Are you crying, George?". Oh my God he's crying, what do I do.

"No no, I'm okay, I'm just..um.. you're everything in one person".
Okay I was genuinely lost, is that why he's crying.

"Oh um, I have to go now, George, I have a lot of work today. Maybe we can catch up later".

"Sure, I'd love that". We exchanged contacts.
The day was about to be beautiful. But I was worried about this guy for some reason. His loss of weight and the emptiness in his voice. I'll find out later. Right now, work O'clock.
