A STORY BY ADEBAYO ROSHEEDAT ABISOLA RoShBeE
EPILOGUE
Their honeymoon began with Umrah. It felt like Allah sealed their marriage in His mercy.
From the moment Muhammad held Fatimah’s hand on the flight to Makkah, she knew this wasn’t just a honeymoon, it was healing, visiting the Holy Land.
When they saw the Ka’abah together for the first time, Fatimah broke down completely.
“Allahu Akbar…” She whispered through tears.
Muhammad stood beside her quietly, his hand firm in hers, his own eyes wet. They're two hearts finally finding peace in the house of Allah.
They performed Umrah together slowly, gently, as if afraid to miss a single moment of the sacred journey. Muhammad kept checking on her constantly.
“Are you okay?”
“Drink Zamzam.”
“Don’t stress yourself.”
Fatimah would always smile with his special treats.
“You’re behaving like I’m made of glass.”
“You are my wife.” He'll always reply proudly.
That trip changed everything because It didn’t just feel like a honeymoon. It felt like a beginning written in Jannah’s ink.
When they returned home, their life settled beautifully. And reality shifted, Fatimah missed her monthly cycle.
At first, she ignored it. Then the tiredness came, with nausea and she was always in emotional silence. Muhammad noticed before she said anything.
“You’re different lately.” He observed one morning.
“I’m just tired.”
“You’ve been saying that for weeks.”
Three days later, he came home with a pregnancy test and Fatimah froze.
“Khayr!” Fatimah exclaimed calling the name he gave him
“Babe, calm down.” He said calmly.
“We’re married.”
The house turned into chaos when she finally agreed to take it. And when the result showed two clear lines, Muhammad’s voice shook the entire house.
“AM POTENT?! YA ALLAH!” He went on Sujudul shukr.
Fatimah laughed until tears fell, “alhamdulillah" is all she could say. Muhammad just stood there holding the test like it was the most expensive gift in the world. Then he turned to her and hugged her so tightly.
“So fast…” He whispered.
“Allah really loves me.”
From that day, he became overprotective. Extremely careful and motionally restless.
“What did you eat?”
“Why are you standing?”
“Sit down.”
“Don’t stress yourself.”
Meanwhile, life around them continued in tranquility, and barakah.
Balkiss had fully resumed working and had become extremely responsible, surprisingly more organized than everyone expected. She became the “always available” helper in the family, balancing work and home duties like she had always been born for it.
Faizah, on the other hand, gained admission into university. The day she got her admission letter, she screamed so loudly the whole compound thought something had happened.
“I MADE IT!” she cried, jumping around.
Faruq remained stuck in school. Law courses were not smiling at him. Every time Fatimah visited the family group, he would complain dramatically.
“My sister is giving birth and I am still reading case laws.” He would complain bitterly.
Then came the first scan, both arriving at the hospital for checkups. That day, Muhammad looked more nervous than Fatimah herself.
The scanning room was silent, the doctor checked carefully. And after a while, he smiled.
“Congratulations.”
“You’re carrying triplets.”
“Trip… what?” Muhammad was shocked.
“Three babies.”
“Alhamdulillah, my Lord is just too merciful." Fatimah burst into laughter immediately.
Muhammad sat down slowly like his strength left his body.
“Ya Allah…” he whispered and went to Sujudul shukr.
"I'm potent? And he even wiped my tears massively.
Muhammad started crying, tears streamed down her cheeks. Even the doctor was confused, only Fatimah understood. Hkissed Fatimah’s forehead repeatedly.
“Allah has blessed me beyond understanding.”
Lamba heard about Fatimah’s marriage for a long time, he said nothing. But one evening, he sat alone and whispered painfully, his life hasn't been balanced or normal.
“I lost a woman Allah honored.” Regret stayed with him quietly
Mardiyah watched from afar as Fatimah’s life blossomed and it broke her. Because she knew…
She had once touched something pure with bitterness and had lost it forever.
Nine months later
Fatimah went into labour. After hours of pain, prayers, and tears, she gave birth. Two boys and one girl, Triplets.
Muhammad cried before he even saw them properly.
“My children…” He whispered and went to Sujudul shukr.
Mrs Tenigbore almost fainted from joy, everyone was happy and shared the joy with her family. Khadijah wasn't in Nigeria but Ummu Muslimoh showed up for the two.
When her father, Mr Lateef heard the news, he sat down quietly for a moment, then smiled deeply.
“My daughter… has truly been blessed.”
That same night, he came to see her from Lagos. He stood by her bedside and held her hand.
“I am proud of you.” he said and Fatimah cried in his arms, remembering her mother.
Muhsin and Muhsinah had started school and stayed mostly with Mrs Tenigbore, who proudly took them to school every morning like it was her personal mission.
“My grandchildren are my full-time job.” She would always say proudly.
Muhammad would still look at Fatimah like he was seeing her for the first time. And Fatimah would still smile shyly whenever he called her my wife.
Because love didn’t fade in their home. It matured, healed and stayed. When Fatimah sat quietly with all her children around her, she would whispered, appreciating Allah
“Ya Allah… You really replaced my pain with mercy.”
LESSONS FROM SCAR
1. Zina is haram for protection, not punishment
Allah forbade zina to protect hearts, dignity, and families. Emotional and physical relationships outside halal boundaries often lead to pain, confusion, and long-term scars.
2. Actions have emotional consequences
Silence, betrayal, and emotional neglect can deeply wound a person and affect their ability to trust again.
3. Cheating destroys trust and future peace
Mardiyah’s betrayal in marriage shows that infidelity does not only break a home, it destroys respect, peace, and emotional stability for everyone involved.
4. Wickedness eventually leads to regret
Harmful actions within relationships and families may seem unnoticed at first, but time often brings regret and emotional consequences.
5. Parental neglect leaves lasting scars
Emotional absence or nonchalant parenting, like Mr. Lateef’s earlier attitude, can shape children’s struggles and emotional instability.
6. Loss without proper guidance deepens pain
When children lose a parent and lack emotional support, they grow up carrying silent wounds that affect their development.
7. Regret can come late but still open the door to healing. Mr. Lateef’s remorse shows that acknowledgment of past mistakes can still bring reconciliation and healing.
8. Communication is stronger than silence
Muhammad’s emotional withdrawal nearly damaged his relationship with Fatimah, proving that silence often causes more harm than truth spoken in love.
9. Marriage is mercy, not perfection
A successful marriage is built on patience, forgiveness, emotional responsibility, and continuous effort.
10. Allah restores broken hearts beautifully
Even after betrayal, pain, and trials, Allah can replace scars with peace, love, and unexpected blessings.
AUTHOR’S NOTE
Alhamdulillah, all praise is due to Allah who made SCAR possible from beginning to end. Every chapter, every emotion, every tear, and every moment of healing was written by His permission alone.
SCAR is more than a story of love; it is a reflection of human weakness, emotional healing, family struggles, and most importantly, Allah’s mercy that never leaves a servant unchanged. If there is anything to take away from this story, let it be that no pain is permanent, and no SCAR is beyond Allah’s healing.
I was in one of my darkest moments when I started writing this story, but Alhamdulillah, I found healing along the way as the story unfolded.
Whatever you may be facing right now, remember that in Allah lies endless mercy. No pain is permanent, and no heart is beyond His healing. May Allah grant us ease, accept our struggles, and forgive our shortcomings.
To everyone who believed in me as a writer, supported my journey, and waited patiently for updates, may Allah reward you abundantly.
And to every heart still healing from its own SCARS…May Allah mend you gently, replace your pain with peace, and write for you a better ending than you ever imagined.
This is not just the end of a story… It is a reminder that Allah always writes better chapters.
