The weather plays a HUGE role when it comes to styling wigs, whether you’re styling straight hair or wavy hair. 🌧️
If you’ve just styled your straight hair and leave it exposed to the cold, damp air, you may notice that it starts to feel dull and damp, with lots of flyaways.
And if you’ve just curled your wavy hair, expecting those curls or waves to last through this rainy season, please note that they may not last as long as they would during the dry season.
You’ll notice that when you style your wig during the warmer, drier months, the styling tends to last longer. But during this rainy, wet, dewy and humid season, moisture in the air can affect how your hair holds its style.
So please, don’t automatically assume it’s bad quality hair. This can happen even with the best quality hair.
What you need to do is protect your wig from the moisture.
✨ Always cover your hair when you’re not wearing it.
✨ Keep it in a bag.
✨ Don’t leave your wig exposed to damp or humid air.
✨ Bag up your hair this season!
Take care of your wigs and they’ll serve you better. 🤎
