According to the story, the young girl and her siblings were hungry while their parents were away. She reportedly decided to cook some rice, while her stepmother had already prepared stew.
When the stepmother returned from work and discovered that the rice had been touched, she allegedly attacked the 12 year old girl with a hot kn!fe, causing injuries to her hands, legs and head.
As if that wasn't enough, it was further alleged that she boiled water and pour£d it on the girl, resulting in severe injuries to her stomach, thighs and private area.
This is heartbreaking and completely unacceptable. No child deserves to be treated this way, regardless of what they may have done. Discipline should never become tortur£ or deliberate infliction of injuries.
