THOSE WHO ARE LIVING WITH A HURTING HEART BECAUSE OF THEIR SINS

The wounds of the heart that are inflicted from the sins one commits cannot be healed with any medicine in this world. Does this then mean that these wounds of the heart can never be healed? No, they can still be healed! The heartache you are enduring right now is from the pain of ignorance, all because you do not know the Truth that our Lord has already washed away all your sins with the water and the Spirit. Have you ever heard and believed in the gospel Word of the water and the Spirit in your lifetime? You probably have not, at least not until today.

The Truth of salvation from sin is the gospel of the water and the Spirit that can be realized from the Word of God. This is the Truth about the water and the Spirit that cannot be heard in today’s worldly Christianity. The mystery of Jesus’ baptism by John the Baptist revealed in this book is surely not known or preached by mainstream Christianity.

But by the grace of God, all the Christian books from The New Life Mission have been written in strict accordance with both the Old and New Testament Scriptures and they are widely available to everyone for free.

With Christmas approaching us, we need to thank God with a clear understanding of the spiritual reason as to why Jesus was born in Bethlehem, and why He was laid in a manger wrapped in swaddling clothes. When our Lord was born on this earth, He was born in a dwelling place of livestock, because there was no room at the inn. This demonstrates the merciful love of God and His salvation, desiring to save you and me from our wretched spiritual condition. We can see that even though we were all inevitably doomed to die for our sins while living in this world, to save such people like us from the sins of the world, our Lord Himself came to this earth looking for us, even unto such a lowly place to give us salvation.

Although our Lord came to this earth in the image of man, in His fundamental essence, He was God Himself. He was not a lowly being like us humans, but He was fundamentally the holy, almighty, and perfect Creator. Jesus Christ is God the Creator who made us, and He is also the only begotten Son of the God the Holy Father. However, even though Jesus Christ was the only begotten Son of God the Father, He came to this earth as the Savior. This was in obedience to the will of God the Father.

The Gospel of Luke writes that when Mary gave birth to her Son, she wrapped Him in swaddling clothes and laid Him in a manger. The swaddling clothes here actually refer to white linen. Having given birth to the Baby Jesus in a stable and cut the umbilical cord, Mary needed to wrap Him in clean linen and lay Him down. But as there was nowhere else to put Him, she laid Him in a manger, a trough used to feed animals. In fact, it was soaked with the stench of animal waste. This shows us that we are fundamentally such wretched beings before God.

We need to realize here that our Lord, who came looking for such lowly beings like us, is the God of mercy who came to save sinners. Although He came to this earth in the image of man, fundamentally speaking, He was not the same creature as you and me. Rather, He was the Creator and God Himself in His essence. He was the Almighty God who had created this world with His Word. Yet despite this, God Himself came to this earth in obedience to His Father in order to save such lowly beings like us from the sins and iniquities of the world.

In fact, our Lord actually knew all about the weaknesses and inadequacies of every human being, and that is why He personally came to this earth to save everyone from all iniquities. In other words, God is the Savior who came to deliver us from all our sins knowing just how weak and insufficient we all are, and how we are utterly incapable of keeping His Law. Jesus Christ was the Shepherd of mankind who had compassion for us and was pleased to save us. That is why our Lord bore all our sins on His own body through the baptism He received from John the Baptist, and while bearing all these sins of the world, He was crucified to be offered as our propitiation of atonement.

Now, realizing the purpose for which the Lord came to this earth, all of us should answer His love by believing in the gospel of the water and the Spirit, which is His love and His method of salvation. As such, on this Christmas, let us all give thanks to the Lord with the full understanding of its real meaning.

When we God's own creatures fell into sin deceived by Satan the Devil, God came to us in the flesh of a man because of His love for us who were created in His image, bore our sins on His body through the baptism He received from John the Baptist and paid off the price with His death on Cross and rose again to give us eternal life.

First of all, I would like to ask you a question. How do you see yourself? Do you think you are good or bad? What do you think?

All people live under their own illusions. You may not be as bad as you think, nor quite as good as you think.

Who, then, do you think will lead a better life of faith? Will it be one who thinks of himself/herself as good? Or one who thinks of himself/herself as bad?

It is the latter. Let me ask you another question. Who is more likely to be redeemed—the one who has committed more sins or the one who has committed only a few sins? The one who admits that he/she has committed countless sins is more likely to be redeemed because the person accepts that he/she is a grave sinner. Such a person can better accept the Word of redemption prepared for him/her by Jesus.

When we really look at ourselves, it is evident that we are merely masses of sin. What are human beings? A person is only ‘a brood of evildoers.’ In Isaiah 59, it states that there are all kinds of iniquities in the hearts of people. Therefore, it is clear that people are masses of sin. However, if we define humankind as a mass of sin, many will disagree. But, defining a person as ‘a brood of evildoers’ is the correct definition. If we honestly look at ourselves, it is clearly obvious that we are evil beings. Those who are honest with themselves must arrive at this very same conclusion.

But, it seems that most people refuse to admit that they are indeed masses of sin. Many live comfortably because they do not consider themselves as sinners. Since we are evildoers, we have created a sinful civilization. If it were not true, we would be too ashamed to sin. However, many of us do not feel ashamed while committing sins.

Nevertheless, their consciences know. Everyone has a conscience that tells him/her, “It is shameful.” Adam and Eve hid themselves among the trees after they had sinned. Today, many sinners hide themselves behind our vile culture—our culture of sin. They hide themselves among their fellow sinners to avoid the judgment of God.

People are deceived by their own illusions. They think themselves to be more virtuous than others. So, when they hear about some bad news, they cry out in rage, “How can a person do such things? How can a man do that? How can a son do that to his own parents?” They themselves believe that they would not do such things.

Dear friends, it is so hard for you to know yourselves. In order to truly know ourselves, we must first receive the remission of sins. It takes a long time for us to obtain the correct knowledge of our human nature, and there are so many of us who will never find this out until the day they die.

Atonement means to pass one's sins and to condemn them, it also means to appease the wrath of God the Father. For instance if Israel was attacked by an enemy country resulting many loss of lives, if they fight back by killing and winning their opponents, they have appeased their hearts that long for revenge, this is also an atonement.

In the Old Testament, the people of Israel sinned against God and deserved to die and be cast into hell for their sins. So to appease the wrath of God ,they had to bring an animal without blemish and passed their sins on the animal by laying their hands on the its head. And the animal would be killed as the wages of their wages. That was how they atoned their sins.

In the New Testament, do you know when God's heart was appeased? It started from the baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River. After Jesus Christ came up from the water of Jordan River having had the sins of the world passed onto His head through the baptism John the Baptist gave Him. A voice came from heave saying “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” (John 3:17). Do you know why God's heart was pleased by His Son receiving the baptism? It is because our sins were passed onto His Son through the baptism He received. Having received our sins onto His body through His baptism, Jesus Christ had to die on the Cross to condemn those sins.

It means that in the New Testament, it was God Himself who came in the flesh of a man and was baptized in the Jordan River through the laying on of hands on His head by John the Baptist to pass the sins of the world on His head. Having thus accepted our sins through His baptism, He was crucified on the Cross to receive the judgement of our sins. He has appeased the wrath of God through this righteous act.

I have been preaching to you my social media friends and others because I want you all to have to correct faith.

Jesus Christ commanded John the Baptist just before being baptized “Permit it to be so now, for thus it is fitting for us to fulfill all righteousness.” (Matthew 3:15) He was saying this is the only way He could wash away our sins and make us righteous just like the laying on of hands of the Old Testament. So the next day after baptizing Jesus Christ, John the Baptist saw Him passing by and witnessed "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" (John 1:29).
