Hey guys 👋

A client challenged me to create something beautiful from these roll.

He said, “Esther, do something beautiful, take your time, but just make it beautiful, I love Gold and black” .

I sha took my time ooooo🤣, I was just thinking about the best way to make it unique, though it took me two months to be certain of what to do,
but I’m so glad I was able to use the materials I had to create something he loved.

As an artist, I often find beauty and meaning in materials people overlook.

For this piece, I used discarded insulin syringes as an artistic medium to explore ideas around waste, vulnerability, healing, and the human experience.

The syringe is more than an object here, it carries a story and a meaning that changes when placed in an artistic context.

I’m not encouraging anyone to collect, handle, or reuse medical waste. This work is about transforming an overlooked object into a conversation.

I love the last slide, it’s speaks more about the Blood in our veins
