" To kill a monkey" is a Nollywood thriller series directed by Kemi Adetiba that explores themes of survival, betrayal and choices people make when pushed to their limits.some of the characters include
*William Benson as Efemini Edewor (Efe) A man struggling with financial hardship,later drown into cybercrime
*Bucci Franklin as Oboz someone saved by Efemini who introduced him into cybercrime
*Bimbo Akin as inspector Mo Ogunlesi a detective investigating the crime, dealing with the trauma of losing her husband and children in an accident.
*Stella Damascus as Nosa the wife to Efe with some others.
The character Efemini Edewor played by William Benson is a brilliant but struggling first class graduate trapped in poverty,he is a devoted husband and father desperately trying to provide for his family despite facing constant setbacks,with his mother in-law not taking it easy on him. His character embodies desperation to stay honest in a system that rewards dishonesty.the more he struggled ,the more he is buried in debts and difficulties .Till he got to his limit and was drawn into cybercrime.
The part that got me emotional was the betrayal scene,Oboz tried to protect him from being killed not knowing that he has being sold out by him ,the gunshots didn't actually kill Oboz but the betrayal did🥺🥺 . yes Oboz was a wrough guy but he is a committed friend and brother.
