J. van Beek BV has been based on Damrak 10 since 1956 and founded by Jan van Beek. His son Bert was the successor and for years son Paul van Beek has been the owner. The name has remained the same for all these years and still a family business. 10 years ago also collaborated with Tours & Tickets, but now only focus on souvenirs, to***co and related articles. Times have changed! We focus mainly on foreign tourists and are perhaps the cheapest store with souvenirs in the centre of Amsterdam.
From 01 June 2020, it is obliged to wear mouth caps in public transport in the Netherlands. Schiphol and the airlines have also made it mandatory to wear a mouth cap. In addition to the souvenirs, we now also offer washable non-medical mouth caps suitable for public transport and airplanes. These can be ordered on our website www.souvenirkoopjes.nl.
