A Ven Van Wol update! 🧶

Sadly, we’ve had some staff sickness pop up, which means we won’t be able to make it to Veendam this Saturday. We’re really sorry to miss you if you were planning to come and see us!

BUT if you’re nearby, we absolutely recommend making a trip to Ven Van Wol. Saskia of Bresni’s Wool has put together a lovely local yarn festival with lots of brilliant vendors to discover and a whole lot of gorgeous yarn to explore!

A little 18th-century inspiration for your knitting basket.

A La Reine Blouse by takes inspiration from Marie Antoinette’s infamous chemise à la reine, pairing fi*****ng weight and delicate mohair for an elegant, floaty look.

We’re especially dreaming of Savannah’s suggested pairing of Bicycle in Seashell with Glowhair in Birch Tree, inspired by the floaty silk sleeves of an 18th-century gown.

Thank you to everyone who came to see us squished some yarn, chatted knitting and made our weekend so lovely! We had such a brilliant time soaking up all that crafty, autumnal energy!
