Sockergris 🇸🇪 has officially opened at Herenstraat 17 in Amsterdam- the city’s first Swedish candy store!

In Sweden, there’s a tradition called lördagsgodis (“Saturday candy”), dating back to the 1950s. Every Saturday, Swedish families go to the candy shop and carefully pick their favorite sweets for the weekend.

Growing up with this tradition, Selma wanted to bring a little piece of Sweden to Amsterdam.

All of the candy is directly imported from Sweden, with a huge selection that is mostly vegan, gluten-free, and halal.

When you walk trough the Herenstraat you might see this gorgeous cat called Captain. He lives at the coolest barbershop of the hood. He loves attention, catching flies and some Neighbour dogs. If you go there for a fresh haircut make sure you say hello to Captain.
