Fleur de Lys

In aardewerk en porselein verkoopt Fleur de Lys o.a. Dibbern, Gien, Bernardaud, Havilland, Raynaud, Coquet en Haviland&Parlon.

Fleur de Lys verschilt van andere servieswinkels door de bijzondere collectie van voornamelijk Franse, Duitse en Scandinavische merken, waarbij de hoge kwaliteit voorop staat. Ook de ambachtelijk vervaardigde en handgeschilderde serviezen van Herend ontbreken niet. Zilveren, verzilverde en edelstalen bestekken treft u er bijvoorbeeld van de merken Christofle, Robbe&Berking, Keltum, Sambonet en Ercuis. Op een mooi gedekte tafel mag (op maat gemaakt) tafellinnen van b.v. Le Jaquard Français en kristal (o.a. Saint Louis, Riedel, Orrefors/Kosta Boda) niet ontbreken. Daarnaast kunt u er terecht voor cadeaus en gebruiksartikelen rond het tafelen, zoals dienbladen, kaarsen van het gerenommeerde Deense merk Ester&Erik en kandelaars. Fleur de Lys heeft een ruime ervaring met bruids- en cadeaulijsten!

Fleurs d’Auteuil

Since 1842, Haviland has embodied the excellence and forward-thinking spirit of French porcelain. A pioneering French tableware manufacturer, the Maison preserves a unique savoir-faire, born from an American passion for Limoges “white gold” and driven by a shared ambition: to transform each piece into a work of art.

The Fleurs d’Auteuil, their newest collection reinterprets one of the very first décors born in 1873 at the Auteuil Atelier, Haviland’s design studio led by artistic director at that time Félix Bracquemond. Twelve flowers form a delicate bouquet, among them double roses, tulips and bearded irises, in a botanical spirit inherited from the Auteuil garden that inspired Léon Pallandre. A pioneer of chromolithography on colored paper, this décor broke away from the rigid symmetrical compositions of its time and today regains its full depth of color on the new scalloped Séraphine shape.

The Jomo series is a new collaboration between Kosta Boda and Swedish designer Nina Christensen. The series consists of four contemporary and unique mouth-blown drinking glasses with a distinguished bar feel, where the unexpected combination of shapes, organic lines and the weight of the glass form an iconic look and feel.
Nina Christensen is a Swedish glassblower, designer and artist. She is the founder of Blank Glass and Design Studio and works with small-scale commercial production as well as unique objects.
In her art and design, she’s drawn to the simple, unadorned and raw. The hands-on nature of hot-shop work is a main influence. Much of her inspiration comes from different parts of the physical processes and the craft of glassblowing – like spinning the hot mass on the pipe, and seeing the shifting states of liquid glass.
By leaving traces of these processes in her pieces – unexpected shapes, deliberate imperfections – Nina tells the story of how the finished products were physically made. This fascinating approach has over time become her hallmark – creating useful, beautiful glass objects while also passing on the history of this craft.

Having a tour guided by Mr. Leonid Rath personally, one of the 3 cousins and managing partners in 6th generation through the studio’s of J.&L. Lobmeyr was like visiting the holy grail of Viennese glassmaking.
J. & L. Lobmeyr was founded in Vienna in 1823 by Joseph Lobmeyr—over 200 years ago. They quickly became purveyor to the Imperial Court ón and above the tables, still visible when f.e. visiting Schönbrunn Palais or the Hofburg Palace in Vienna . Lobmeyr glasses are still blown, cut, engraved, and polished entirely by hand. All their lighting products are manufactured at their atelier workshops in the heart of Vienna. Illustrious place like the Vienna Airport with the Schloss Hoff chandeliers inspired by the 1720’s design by J.L. von Hildesbrand for the summer residence of Prince Eugene of Savoy but also the Metropolitan Opera in New York by the much applauded 12 1966th Starburst chandeliers designed by H.H. Rath, Hotel Sacher and Hotel Imperial in Vienna are all lit by chandeliers by L.&L.Lobmeyr. The Lobmeyr company focuses on a contemporary interpretation of glass and light and never stops cultivating its heritage. The old inspires the new, and traditional knowledge facilitates innovation. Together with designers like Josef Hoffmann and Adolf Loos in the past, and today Ted Muehling and Michael Anastassiades among others, they create fine handmade crystal and chandeliers that are appreciated by connoisseurs all over the world.
