Waterstones Booksellers Amsterdam Thank you for loving books as much as we do. Welcome to Waterstones Booksellers in Amsterdam - the home of English books in The Netherlands.

You can find us in the heart of Amsterdam's book district on the corner of Kalverstraat and Spui, in a listed building which was designed by renowned architect Berlage. First opening as Waterstones in 1998, the store has a relaxed ambience, with knowledgeable, book-loving staff. We're more than just a large general English language bookstore however. As well as providing a large range of books we

have greeting cards, a small range of British food plus games and gifts over four floors. We also specialise in English and Dutch as a second language, Children's books, books about living and working in the Netherlands and Dutch fiction in English translation. We aim to cater to everyone; Amsterdammers, Expats and tourists alike. We also place great emphasis on personal recommends from our booksellers, which you'll find throughout the store and we currently run 2 book groups in contemporary and classic fiction. We can also order any available book or DVD at no extra charge. Ultimately we want you to enjoy your visit to our store and leave with the right books for you - we love books, we love reading and we love helping people find great books to read. Mail orders
