Killacutz records is specialized in 2nd hand records. Open daily 10:00 - 18:00 In de collectie zitten vele parels om je oude collectie aan te vullen.

Bij Killacutz records in Amsterdam kun je terecht voor tweede hands platen en/of vinyl. Met een collectie die op dit moment uit ongeveer 30000 platen bestaat, kun je bij ons terecht voor oa: Chicago House, Detroit Techno, Tech House, Techno, Acid, Drum and Bass, Break en Dubstep. Begin je net met vinyl en ben je op zoek naar klassiekers uit de jaren 80 en 90 ook dan zit je goed bij ons. Prijzen zijn al van af € 3,-
Via onze Facebook pagina zullen we ook platen posten die vroeger moeilijk te vinden waren, of waar de meeste de titel niet van kende. Houd ons dus goed in de gaten als je nog op zoek bent naar bepaalde titels! Mocht je juist van je platen afwillen dan zijn wij zeker geintereseerd. From the early days of UK house to more than four decades behind the decks.

We sat down with Eddie Richards to go back to where it all started. What was the scene like in those early years? Who was around him at the time, and how did those connections help shape the sound that followed?

We also spoke about Wiggle and the scene surrounding it, how things have changed since then, and what it’s like to see records from that era still being discovered, collected and played by a new generation today.

Of course, we had to look forward as well. Eddie is still making music, still digging for records and still doing what he has always done best: playing for the dancefloor.

So, what can we expect when he steps into the booth at BRET?

Gideon Jackson, one of the key figures of the original UK tech house sound.

Ahead of August 28th, we sat down with Gideon to talk about his journey through the London underground, releasing music on labels such as Wiggle, Swag, Household and London Housing Benefit, the recent return of some of his older productions, and how his approach to making and playing music has evolved over the years.

From records made decades ago finding their way back into record bags today, to what still keeps him inspired behind the decks.

On August 28th, we bring that story to Amsterdam as Gideon Jackson joins us at BRET.

Evil Eddie Richards has been shaping the UK tech-house sound since day one and is widely regarded as the godfather of the UK tech-house movement. He will be accompanied by a crew of record collectors who have spent years keeping this style of music alive. Expect a long, steady night of that London Underground energy.

A familiar face behind the decks at legendary clubs like Trouw, Studio 80 and DC-10, Boris has also held a residency at Shelter since the club opened its doors in 2016, becoming part of its core fabric. Real Audio / Real Techhouse.

The concept Real Audio saw light in 1998 at club RoXY Amsterdam where Richard Parker was a resident dj . 28 August Killacutz and Bret team up for the reintroduction of Real Audio. A night with a nice blend of Techhouse and dirty House grooves ! Real Music, Real fire on the dancefloor. The first edition kicks off with 2 legends from London’s underground scene : Evil Eddie Richards and Gideon Jackson. Herra and Richard Parker will start the night with a B2B set. Real house grooves only.
