Last week we introduced Collectable Series Nº V: We are de Sjaak.

Since then, we’ve received so many wonderful responses, and the first Duchamp T-shirts have already found their new wearers.

Made in our own studio from upcycled textiles. Given a second life, and a statement to carry forward:

Introducing Collectable Series Nº V: The “We are de Sjaak - Duchamp T-Shirts”.

Everything we create is designed to spark a meaningful conversation about textile waste and mental health. With our newest release, we are taking that mission a step further.

With a cheeky nod to our co-founder Sjaak Hullekes, we are proud to introduce the "We are de Sjaak if we don't start caring more" T-shirts. For our non-Dutch community: the phrase "we zijn de sjaak" translates to "we are screwed." It is both a playful pun and a serious wake-up call. We see it as an urgent plea for more care, compassion, and connection with the people and nature around us.

This Thursday, our hometown Arnhem will be set for the Arnhem Stock & Design days as part of Juni Mode Maand.

Designers and fashion boutiques across the city open their doors and clear their archives, giving you the opportunity to discover final pieces, samples, fabrics and much more during this city-wide stock sale event.

Hul le Kes is taking part. Join us at our studios from 25th to 28th June.

While some of us will be at Paris Fashion Week, the rest of our team will welcome you here in Arnhem.

A little over a week ago we had the honour of receiving the Cultuurfonds Mode Stipendium 2026, the most prestigious fashion award in the Netherlands, from the hands of Cathelijne Broers, Director of the Cultuurfonds. Here Angelique Westerhof, Director of the Dutch Fashion Foundation, reads the jury report that accompanied this remarkable recognition.

The report reflects on 20 years of creative practice by and A journey rooted in craftsmanship, care, sustainability, social impact, and the belief that fashion can be a force for connection.
