A common problem with NIU scooters is that customers will encounter a 140 error. This 140 error means that the connection of the throttle, is deteriorating. So what you can do about it is that you can replace your throttle, and we really recommend this model of throttle because the grips are more comfortable and look better. To install these throttles, you simply just remove the old ones and re-plug this new throttle in and secure it to the handlebar. And this is the end result of our throttle on a Segway E300 series.

If you have upgraded your battery to 72V, you can consider to upgrade your motor. Now, going to a dealer or installing this yourself can be quite a hassle. That‘s why we have pre-assembled kits. Simply, you just have to remove the two bolts on the rear arm, and you can install this new motor set. This way, you don’t have to spend time putting on the tire, centering the motor, and assembling everything. You can just simply remove two bolts and then install this.
