Delft has more waterways than one might think. All layers except the waterways on the illuminated glass plate. Quite a nice effect and a peek into some future developments.

Notice the 'Schie', the oldest canal 'Oude Delft' and De Delftse Hout with its small lake. See if you can find more.

I got the key to the new location for Maplab 🥳. Only 350 meters from where everything started we will build a beautiful studio for Designing, Creation and an exhibition space. Of course still in Delft. Very exited for this new chapter, which will enable reaching larger and the best work I ever created. The reconstruction started and will take up 4-6 months. Last week I visited the .ch in London. To get inspiration for my new cotton paper based series. It was a fantastic small event in an old crypt. Found a variety of new and splendid colours and textured. They will show up very soon in the first specimens of the colour study.

Recently I visited a paper factory in Germany producing some of the papers I use in my work. Truly astonishing piece of engineering these paper mills. Although the principles are the same as 50 years ago. The advanced in mechatronics and sensor systems make it that we have the highest quality and variety ever produced. My thanks to for the tour.

A new work of Amsterdam in 1834, made of Sycamore, Sapele Mahogany and two layers of Embossed paper. You will be able to purchase it starting on the 7th of September taking place in Amsterdam.

The last few months, I have been working on a new series of work. It is made from thick paper covered in concrete dust and provides a wonderful matt look. I'm very happy how the light interacts with the piece, creating a true monochromatic experience.

There are over 10.000 individual buildings in this work which is a limited edition of 30 pieces.
