After some refreshing rain overnight, another sunny day here in Lot-et-Garonne. Rosehips from our own garden in a French bottle. I still receive sweet messages like... “I’m thinking of you all”... I won’t deny that it’s hard... as the days go by, the sense of loss only grows... that is the price of love. We have to embrace it.

S e p t e m b e r…🌞

We keep ourselves busy in and around our home, which doesn’t feel the same anymore to be honest…it needs time..a lot of time…
Taco is busy with our kitchen project and I picked up the painting brush again on our bed-and bathroom floor.

Our cantaloup melon plant is flowering again and I spotted a melon in the making. Aiko is supervising the progress and that is hard work as you see ;-) he is such a brave sweet heart ♥️
Also a little preview of some new found items…this afternoon I made some photos and I will let you know when the update goes online.

M o n d a y….

Good morning dear friends and followers. Thank you for being here…you have been a huge support over the past few weeks ❤️‍🩹

As the grass turns green again, the plums are still falling from the trees. The animals enjoy them during the night... and so do we, of course. They are deliciously sweet. Aiko joins in the search...

Soon I’ll be able to share some beautiful finds with you again...I will keep you updated

T h a n k y o u…..♥️

For all your sweet messages... so much sympathy and comforting words..❤️‍🩹….for the unexpected loss of our brown rascal, Denzel on Thursday, August 6…He wasn’t even two and a half years old. 💔
Not a moment goes by without us missing his beautiful, sweet personality.
It is incredibly hard for us to pick up the pieces, but we must….for Aiko’s sake and for our own. The realization that things will never be the same again hits us every single day.

Aiko is doing really well; he is so sweet and brave... ♥️ This morning, a photo of our blond rascal and a message from Denzel in the sky... I felt it, and Aiko did too...

Thank you for being here..It meant so much to us ♥️

D e n z e l….💔

It’s quiet here for a while, because our hearts are broken... last Thursday morning, we lost our dear brown Denzel in a tragic accident... the grief and sense of loss are intense. Our home is no longer the same without his constant enthusiasm and love... so much love... ♥️ Not only towards us, but the love between him and Aiko was also so beautiful to see.
Now we can only be grateful for the time we had with him... we would have loved to see him grow old and grey... but fate had other plans 💔

Denzel is home... in a place where he can always gaze into the distance, watch the sunsets, and see the deer pass by.

Aiko is doing well, considering the circumstances... we are here for him

M o n d a y….

I hope you all enjoyed your weekend dear all. Our weekend in a nutshell….;-) progress with the kitchen, our first ripe cantaloup melon, which smells devine…as promised a photo of our new found bench and some inspiration of finds that can be discovered on my webshop More Brocante Antiques.
The Sarreguemine terrine will be listed tomorrow and in case you didn’t discovered it yet on my webshop…I also sell the pure products of Les Choses Simples made in Provence. Their look alone fits so beautifully into a home with a natural style.
So…tomorrow another update around 7 o’clock CET there are beautiful finds to discover then 👀
