Happy new year! 2021 not only marks the 400th death anniversary of what might be Holland's greatest composer, it also marks the 100th death anniversary of Diepenbrock, who was considered by many to be the greatest Dutch composer since Sweelinck. For organists there is a chance to put a nice arrangement on their programs for this season:

There is a nice review of Corsellis' arrangement of the passacagliain the last edition of PianoNews (citations): ‘Existing transcriptions could not convince the Belgian pianist Yves Corsellis, forcing him to make his own transcription. That one is available now with music publisher Valeur Ajoutée in an impressive faithful edition, provided with an extremely detailed preface by the author himself.[..] Besides is made use of a scala of techniques, that bear wittness of a remarkably thorough research into transcription techniques. The result is an arrangement that is as pianistic as it is fathful to the text.[..]The score is accurate and reader-friendly.’
