DT-MTC

An 'On-Air' warning light really belongs in every ambitious recording studio. That’s exactly what the Dutch 'Engineers at work' from Dtronics thought, and they present the DT-MTC, a USB-powered relay for controlling any warning light with an integrated MTC (midi timecode) display. Great for your DAW.

Connecting it is straightforward; once connected to a computer via USB, the DT-MTC automatically shows up as two MIDI ports and operates according to the HUI protocol. Additionally, the positive pole of a 12V power supply (e.g., for an LED 'On-Air' light) is connected to the DT-MTC, which switches it via the built-in relay when the record button is pressed in any DAW. Standalone operation is also possible, as the device has a MIDI input with a 3.5mm stereo jack and can be powered using a standard USB power adapter.
