Louis Vuitton Brass Explorer Trunk

Created in the late 19th century, the Louis Vuitton Brass Explorer Trunk was designed for explorers and wealthy travelers facing long, demanding journeys.

Its solid brass exterior offered exceptional protection against moisture, insects and rough handling, combining functionality with Louis Vuitton’s renowned craftsmanship.

The wallpaper demo trunk. In the early 1900s exclusive wallpaper was used for decor in many large American mansions. The Birge company from Buffalo NY (established in 1879) was the leading wallpaper company in the US. This made to order trunk was built around 1925 and served for many years. This trunk is now part of the worlds largest LV trunk collection that is for sale at Pinth Vintage Luxury trunks.
