"I have been a Cary fan and owner for a solid 20 years. I bought this amp [SA-200.2 ES Power Amplifier] to try it out on my King Sound Prince II full range electrostatics. Well I am absolutely flabbergasted. The stats sound like I never thought possible. Sound stage is enormous, lighting fast of course, top to bottom. The kettle drum on RR Firebird Suite is absolutely frightening. If this amp cost 10K, it would still be a bargain. I thought the SA-500.1 would be way too much power and would be unnecessary. The stats can handle 200 watts rms per channel. I listen at about 10 o'clock on the preamp volume control. SLP-98P preamp, Teflon capped of course, sounds extraordinary. This amp replaced my beloved Cary V12i monoblocks which I have had for many years with no problems whatsoever."
