I really enjoy the wall stand. It is very high quality and solid when fastened to the wall. Having my horn on the stand makes it so convenient to just pick up and play. I am playing much more now than when I had to drag the case out of the closet-out of sight out of mind. When on the stand, it is a constant reminder to practice and play.

The Sir Harry was the easiest of the sax holders to mount due to the larger wall plate, and whilst it does have flexibility of movement when the instrument is in the cradle, it feels secure.

The Brecker mount for Tenor sax required a lot of effort to open the bell fork to accommodate my big bell tenor.

The Parker mount for Alto required no bell fork adjustment, but there’s no natural seating position for the lower support on my Selmer Supreme - it either fouls the bell key guard or the stem of the low B tone hole depending on position. To avoid snagging, I had to slightly turn the instrument in towards the wall.

The soprano holders work fine and the height adjuster helps accommodate different bore sizes (Yamaha/Selmer in my case) but the friction clamp does not apply enough force to the stem for my liking.

Overall, The locoparasaxo sax holders are well made and do the job. Initially, it’s a little unnerving to hang your saxes on the wall with such small profile mounts, and a lot of faith is placed on the weld between the horizontal bar and wall bracket, but they work, and are secure.

Proud to share another wonderful back story I received last week from David P. after shipping him a Dizzy Big Bell trumpet stand:

In 2019, for our 25th wedding anniversary, my wife and I went to NYC, where we used to date, and while there went to see Chris Botti, my favorite trumpet artist, at the Blue Note. The instrument that Chris Botti is playing is a 1939 Martin Handcraft Committee trumpet. My trumpet, which is hanging on a Locoparasaxo stand, is a 1940 Martin Handcraft Committee trumpet - the exact same instrument, just made 9 months later. I had to use the Big Bell wall stand to extend out beyond the frame. The poster is the cover of the actual Play Bill from the night we saw him.

Ok, der Halter ist etwas teuer. Aber wer wie ich Instrumente einfach schön findet, der möchte sie auch ästhetisch präsentieren. Und dann geht kein Weg um die hübschen Saxophonhalterungen von loco para Saxo herum. Funktional ist der Wandhalter ansonsten einwandfrei, das Alto sitzt wie eine Eins darin

Fast and smooth delivery. The Trombone Shorty wall mounts are absolutely fantastic. Easy to install and even my big bass trombone and the contra bass trombone do fit. The Trumpet wall mount (for bigger bell) does fit the soprano trombone perfectly. Now my horns are displayed in a way they deserve. Thank you.
