Here's a surprising answer: it becomes seaweed for seals!

We're proud to have donated brand-new MicroAct textile strips to Ecomare, a seal rescue and rehabilitation center on the Dutch island of Texel. 🦭🌊

These durable, flexible strips, normally designed for carwash brushes, now float in the seals' pools as artificial seaweed, giving the animals a richer, more playful environment to explore.

Built to withstand years of constant water exposure, MicroAct turned out to be the perfect fit for this unexpected new purpose. Sometimes great materials find meaning in the places you'd least expect.
