Verzending binnen Europa 📦
Vanwege de strenge eisen van de nieuwe Europese verpakkingswetgeving (PPWR), bezorgen wij momenteel alleen nog in Nederland, België en Duitsland.Woon je in een ander Europees land? Dan is het op dit moment helaas niet mogelijk om een bestelling te plaatsen.

Waarom wij (tijdelijk) niet meer naar jouw EU-land verzenden
Beste klant,
Woon je in Oostenrijk, Italië, Frankrijk of een ander Europees land buiten Nederland, België of Duitsland?
Dan heb je gemerkt dat je in onze checkout helaas geen bestelling meer kunt afronden.
Dat spijt ons enorm, en we leggen je graag uit waarom we deze bespottelijke, maar noodzakelijke beslissing hebben moeten nemen.
De boosdoener: De nieuwe Europese verpakkingswet (PPWR)
Sinds augustus 2026 gelden er strenge nieuwe Europese regels rondom verpakkingen (de PPWR).
Het doel klinkt mooi: minder verpakkingsafval in Europa.
Maar de uitwerking voor kleine webshops zoals de onze is een bureaucretische nachtmerrie.
De Europese Unie heeft namelijk verzuimd om één centraal Europees loket te maken.
Dit betekent dat wij ons als kleine webwinkel in elk afzonderlijk EU-land verplicht moeten registreren, een lokale administratie moeten bijhouden en recyclingkosten moeten afdragen.
Al sturen we maar één pakketje per jaar naar jouw land.
Waarom dit voor ons onbetaalbaar is:
Honderden euro's aan vaste kosten per land: Landen zoals Oostenrijk verplichten ons om een lokale 'gemachtigde vertegenwoordiger' (zoals een notaris of advocaat) in te huren.
Dit kost ons honderden euro's per jaar, puur om een paar pakketjes te mógen sturen.
Absurde administratie: We moeten per land exact in kilo's en grammen gaan rapporteren hoeveel karton, plastic en tape we de grens oversturen.
Voor een klein team is dat administratief simpelweg niet te doen.
Torenhoge boetes: Voldoen we niet aan de papierwinkel van een specifiek land? Dan riskeren we direct geautomatiseerde boetes die in de duizenden euro's lopen.
Grote multinationals lachen, het mkb bloedt
Voor miljardenbedrijven zoals Amazon is deze regelgeving een fluitje van een cent; zij hebben hele afdelingen met juristen om dit in te richten.
Voor de miljoenen kleine, onafhankelijke webshops in Europa (het mkb) zorgt deze regelgeving er echter voor dat de vrije Europese markt effectief ophoudt te bestaan.
Wij worden gedwongen onze grenzen te sluiten.
Hoe nu verder?Omdat wij onze marges niet willen verdampen aan buitenlandse juristen en portalen, focussen wij ons noodgedwongen puur op Nederland, België en Duitsland.
Hier hebben we de registraties (met veel moeite en kosten) rond gekregen.
Wij steunen duurzaamheid van harte, maar deze ondoordachte Brusselse regelgeving raakt de verkeerde partijen: de kleine ondernemer en de consument die minder keuzevrijheid overhoudt.
Zodra de EU met een betaalbare, centrale oplossing komt voor kleine webwinkels, heropenen we direct onze grenzen.

Why we (temporarily) no longer ship to your EU country
Dear customer,
Do you live in Austria, Italy, France, or any other European country outside the Netherlands, Belgium, or Germany?
If so, you may have noticed that you are unfortunately unable to complete your order in our checkout.
We are incredibly sorry about this, and we would like to explain why we had to make this frustrating but necessary decision.
The culprit: The new European Packaging Regulation (PPWR)Since August 2026, strict new European rules regarding packaging (the PPWR) have been in effect.
The goal sounds noble: reducing packaging waste across Europe. However, the reality for small online shops like ours is a bureaucratic nightmare.The European Union failed to create a single, centralized European portal.
This means that as a small webshop, we are legally required to register individually in every single EU country, maintain a local administration, and pay recycling fees there.
This applies even if we only send one single package per year to your country.
Why this is unaffordable for us:Hundreds of euros in fixed costs per country: Countries like Austria force us to hire a local 'authorized representative' (such as a notary or lawyer).
This costs us hundreds of euros per year, just for the permission to send a few packages.Absurd administration: We have to report exactly how many kilograms and grams of cardboard, plastic, and tape we ship across each specific border.
For a small team, this paperwork is simply impossible to manage.Sky-high fines: If we do not comply with the paperwork of a specific country, we face automated fines that easily run into thousands of euros.Large multinationals win, small businesses sufferFor billion-dollar corporations like Amazon, this regulation is a piece of cake; they have entire departments of lawyers to handle this.
For the millions of small, independent webshops in Europe, however, this regulation effectively kills the free European market.
We are being forced to close our borders.What happens next?Because we refuse to let our margins vanish into foreign lawyers and portals, we are forced to focus exclusively on the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany.
In these countries, we have managed to set up the registrations (with a lot of effort and expense).
We fully support sustainability, but this ill-conceived regulation from Brussels targets the wrong people: the small business owner and the consumer, who is left with fewer choices.As soon as the EU introduces an affordable, centralized solution for small webshops, we will reopen our international shipping immediately.
