The Whiskypicker was out duck hunting this week…

He did spot a duck, but somehow ended up bringing home an entire whisky collection instead. Not a bad day at the office.

Among the bottles is this fantastic ceramic duck decanter, joined by a lovely mix of collectible, unusual and very drinkable whiskies.

More details will follow soon, but for now we just wanted to share this fun little catch with you.

🕯️ FOUND IN A FORGOTTEN CELLAR... 🕯️

We thought we had seen it all—until last week.
Tucked away in the cobwebbed corner of a dusty old cellar, beneath a crumbling cottage on the Highland coast, we stumbled upon a hidden treasure that made our whisky hearts skip a beat.

The house belonged to a reclusive old lady who, locals say, hadn’t set foot outside in over twenty years. The cellar hadn’t seen daylight since the '90s—and neither had what lay inside.

Among old crates and rusted tins, there it was:
Clynelish 1965 – bottled in 1994 – DUMPY bottle – #667.
One of the rarest Clynelish expressions ever released, from the old distillery days, long before modern hands touched the stills.

The label? A little worn.
The seal? Untouched.
The whisky? Mysteriously perfect.
