This week, we’re featuring Fabio Passeri a Milan-based artist creating rugs that go beyond decoration, they shape the identity of a space.

His piece, Tibetan Celestial Dragon, is inspired by the legend of the carp that swims upstream and transforms into a dragon. A story of persistence, growth, and becoming something greater, mirroring Fabio’s own journey from searching for direction to building his craft full-time.

This week, we’re heading to Oslo, where Kim Andre Sandtorv and his girlfriend — together known as — are turning yarn into iconic art. Their latest piece? A grayscale tribute to football’s greatest rivalry: Ronaldo vs. Messi, inspired by the legendary Louis Vuitton ad.

What began as a client commission quickly became a breakthrough moment, putting Oslo Rugs on the map and leading to collabs with Norwegian celebs and festivals. Not bad for someone who picked up tufting just this year!
