Two Campbeltown champions. 🥃

Kilkerran 12 Years Old is the more approachable of the pair: lightly peated, with fresh citrus notes, a characteristically oily mouthfeel and a subtle smokiness.

The Spirit of Yorkshire Distillery, founded in 2011, produces wh**ky under the Filey Bay label. This expression was bottled in 2023 after maturing in bourbon casks and receiving a finish in Moscatel sherry casks. An approachable and enjoyable wh**ky.

In the Contrasts series from Speyside distillery Benromach, the Unpeated 12 Years Old was released in 2025. This single malt was matured in first-fill sherry casks and, as the name suggests, was made without peat. A fine wh**ky that offers excellent value for money.
