Emptying a paddling pool shouldn’t need babysitting.

The drain sits flush with the floor, so the last stretch of water just won’t leave without you tilting and holding the whole thing. Annoying.

So I modeled a drain wedge (yes, that’s the SpaceMouse from making an appearance). Slide it under, open the drain, walk away. It empties itself.

Print stats:
1.7h print, 77g, no supports.

Heads up: it’s PLA, so only slide it under when it’s time to empty. Don’t leave it baking in the sun all summer.

I started a print remotely and forgot to check the size of the part.. 🫣 ended up running out of the Yellow PLA and had to use a different color for the finish the print! What do you think of the end result?

Just received the AULUMU G09 MagSafe Stand and the AC01 Mag Pad, and first impressions are good.

The G09 has a 360° adjustable arm that holds your phone at pretty much any angle. For content creation, that’s actually useful. No tripod needed for quick shots, overhead angles, or keeping your phone in frame while you work at the desk.

It also comes with a rubber ring, which doubles as a grip when you’re holding the phone in hand, a nice safety detail that’s easy to overlook.

I’ll be putting both through their paces properly before I say more, but the build quality feels right out of the box.
