Premier Seafarmers In onze familie draait alles om de zee. Hier kweken en oogsten we onze heerlijke en voedzame schaal- en schelpdieren.

Onze overgrootvader Pieter Verwijs begon in 1880 met het kweken van oesters. Met trots zetten wij zijn nalatenschap met Premier voort.

Quick Vongole Pasta 🍝🌶️

Fast, fresh, and ready before you start doubting your dinner plans.

A few ingredients, big flavour. Garlic, chili, parsley and vongole doing exactly what they should. No overthinking needed.

Boil your pasta.
Sauté garlic, chili and parsley in olive oil.
Add the vongole and let them open up.
Finish with a splash of pasta water or white wine for that silky sauce.

Simple, quick, and seriously good.

Catch of the Day: Fish Kebabs 🔥🍋

Grilled vibes, no barbecue needed.

Kebabs are usually all about meat, but fresh fish does the job just as well. Light, juicy and packed with flavour, especially with a hit of lemon.

Marinate chunks of fish with olive oil, lemon juice, chili flakes, salt and pepper. Let it sit so it really takes on the flavour.
Thread onto skewers with red onion, bell pepper, lemon wedges and bay leaves.
Spread extra vegetables on a tray, drizzle with olive oil and season well.
Roast everything in the oven until the fish is tender and the edges start to colour.

Serve hot with roasted vegetables and an extra squeeze of lemon.

Fresh, zesty, and made for long summer evenings.

Cockle Pot Pie 🥧

Comfort food with a coastal twist.
Juicy cockles folded into a creamy herb ragout, sealed under a layer of golden, flaky puff pastry. Rich, savoury and quietly indulgent — familiar, yet just a little special.

How to:
Steam the cockles gently with shallot, herbs and a splash of white wine until just opened. Remove from the shells and strain the cooking liquid.
Make a roux with butter and flour, then whisk in the cockle liquor and milk or cream to create a smooth sauce. Fold in the cockles, parsley and tarragon, season with black pepper.

Line a muffin tin with puff pastry, fill with the ragout and top with a pastry lid. Bake until crisp and golden. Serve warm with piccalilli on the side.
