Rook- corvus frugilegus

This one was a commission by a customer. He told me he had a crow but up on arrival i found the bird to have a very beautiful shine to its feathers and a strangely long point beek: it wasnt a crow it was a juvenile rook!

I havent really done small birds in a while (and everytime i tried all the feathers went flying without the bird) but with some tips and tricks of other taxidermists i finally succeeded to make one. Im so excited to do more small birds now! Its not perfect but i know what i have to do differently next time☺️
