Vi ønsker at alle studenter skal oppleve inkludering og mestring i studiehverdagen. Noen studenter opplever utfordringer med å bruke norsk i helsefaglige og naturvitenskapelige sammenhenger, og dette kan påvirke læringsutbyttet og progresjonen i studiet. Dette vil vi vi styrke gjennom et nytt mentorprogram.
Vi ønsker å starte opp mentorgrupper, der studenter med norsk som andrespråk sammen kan øve på norsk helse-språk. Som språk-mentor vil du lede små grupper av studenter med norsk som andrespråk. Dere arbeider sammen med praktisk og muntlig bruk av fagspråk. Du vil få opplæring, veiledning og faglig støtte fra faglige ansatte ved instituttet.
Som språkmentor vil du sitte igjen med en erfaring innen pedagogikk, veiledning og kommunikasjon som er relevant for studiet og fremtidig jobbsøking.
Vi ønsker å starte opp med opplæring og grupper i løpet av våren, men jobben vil hovedsakelig bli fra høsten 2026.

We want to start mentoring groups where students with Norwegian as a second language can practice Norwegian health terminology together. As a language mentor, you will lead small groups of students with Norwegian as a second language. You will work together on the practical and oral use of technical terminology. You will receive training, guidance, and academic support from faculty members at the department.
As a language mentor, you will gain experience in pedagogy, guidance, and communication that is relevant to your studies and future job search.
We plan to begin training and group sessions this spring, but the position will primarily start in the fall of 2026.
