One thing I love about my study guide being a PDF version is that you can upload it to different programs. The program of my choice is good notes.

You can do this from anywhere. I did my devotional on the airplane, in Iceland, and now with this beautiful view of Norway for the next month.

No need to miss a day or carry a bunch of books with me as I have previously.

I don’t need to carry a bag of colored pencils or highlighters.

It’s all there!

The devotional that I’m working on this month is called 🐋 “But Jonah.” 🐋 It’s a 30 day devotional to help you recognize when God is speaking and respond without hesitation. Something that spoke to me to develop while reading the book of Jonah.

A little honesty today.

Building Sunday Salt Press hasn’t been easy.

There have been days when I’ve questioned whether I should keep going.

Days when the numbers felt discouraging and the effort felt invisible.

But I’ve been reminded that God doesn’t call us to control the outcome.

He calls us to be faithful.

So today I’m choosing faithfulness over discouragement.

If you’ve ever felt like giving up on something God placed on your heart, this is your reminder to keep taking the next step.

“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

I used to think Bible study had to look perfect to count.

But the truth is…
some of the deepest growth happens quietly:
with coffee,
a journal,
a few honest prayers,
and consistency over perfection.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed trying to “do enough,” this is your reminder that God meets you right where you are.

Some women in Scripture were overlooked.
Some were doubted.
Some carried painful pasts.
Some stepped into impossible situations.

Yet God called them anyway.

Rahab. Esther. Deborah. Jael.

Different stories. Same God.

A reminder that God doesn’t choose people because they’re perfect. He chooses people who are willing to trust Him.

Standing in the beauty of Iceland, I couldn’t help but think about the same Creator who formed these mountains also writes redemption stories for ordinary women every day.

You don’t have to be fearless.
You don’t have to have it all figured out.
You simply have to be willing to say yes when God calls.

✨ Called.
✨ Chosen.
✨ Courageous.

Which woman from the Bible inspires you most?

Push. Pray. Persevere.

Standing in Iceland, I couldn’t help but think about how many times God carried me through seasons I wanted to quit.

The prayers that felt unanswered.
The goals that felt impossible.
The days I wanted to give up.

And yet…

God kept reminding me:

Push.
Pray.
Persevere.

Not because the journey is easy.
But because He is faithful.

Looking back, some of my greatest blessings were waiting on the other side of perseverance.

🤍 What’s something God helped you persevere through?

Some battles never made it online.

Nobody’s saw the nights you cried.
The prayers whispered quietly.
The exhaustion.
The anxiety.
The rebuilding.
The healing.

But God saw all of it.

And somehow…
instead of becoming bitter,
you became softer,
wiser,
stronger,
and more peaceful.

That kind of healing is holy.

Healing isn’t always dramatic.

Sometimes it looks like:
quiet mornings,
setting boundaries,
praying through tears,
learning to trust God again,
and slowly becoming someone softer and stronger at the same time.

If you’re healing quietly too, these prompts are for you.

Save this for your next journaling session. 🤍

June isn’t about becoming a completely different person.

It’s about returning to what matters.

This month I’m choosing:

🤍 More time with God
🤍 More gratitude
🤍 More movement
🤍 More presence
🤍 More adventure
🤍 More peace

And a little less rushing through the life God has already given me.

Here’s to a softer, slower, more intentional June.

What are you leaving behind in May?
