What’s the best camping companion you can have? We’d say your wife or girlfriend, kids, and dog are all perfectly good answers!

Bjørn brought his young dog, Kira, along for her very first camping trip in his Nortent Vern 1 3S. They had a fantastic time enjoying the great outdoors and a beautiful location together.

Thanks to for sharing these beautiful photos with us!

Ben Williams went into beast mode with his NORTENT Varde 1 on Ben Macdui, where wind gusts of 76 mph (122 km/h) were recorded. In conditions like these, being able to fully trust your equipment is absolutely essential. We’re very happy that Ben puts his trust in his NORTENT Varde 1.

Den Norske Turistforening (the Norwegian Trekking Association) chose the Nortent Gamme 8 for their camp at Leivassbu in Jotunheimen National Park. What could be better than arriving at a warm and welcoming camp like this after a long day of trekking through the mountains?

Den Norske Turistforening (DNT) is Norway’s largest outdoor recreation organization. It maintains an extensive network of mountain cabins and marked hiking trails across the country, while also organizing trips and outdoor activities for people of all ages.

Lars had a fantastic trip to Hardangervidda this summer. The weather on the plateau is unpredictable, so he trusted nothing less than his reliable Nortent Varde 1.

If you love spending time outdoors and enjoy nights under canvas, Hardangervidda is a destination you have to experience. For those who are less keen on sleeping in a tent, there is also the option to hike from mountain lodge to mountain lodge. Many of the lodges are fully operational, offering comfortable beds, food, and a warm place to rest after a day outdoors.

With its breathtaking scenery and countless lakes and rivers with fish, Hardangervidda provides the perfect escape from everyday life—a place where both body and mind can truly recharge.

Perhaps the 2027 Nortent Expedition should have Hardangervidda as its destination?

We have received some beautiful pictures of Ly3 pitched in Iceland from our reseller in Reykjavik, Villimadur.com.

If you’re considering a camping trip to Iceland, there are a few things to keep in mind. Iceland has relatively strict rules regarding wild camping, but there are many well-equipped campsites, especially along the Ring Road. The weather can also be unpredictable, with strong winds, rain, and chilly temperatures possible even during the summer months. And don’t forget the midnight sun, during parts of the summer, it barely gets dark at all!

But camping in Iceland can be a very rewarding experience. The nature is truly breathtaking. Wild, dramatic, and wonderfully diverse. Majestic mountains, powerful waterfalls, black-sand beaches, glaciers, volcanic landscapes, and endless open spaces make Iceland a fantastic destination.

What would your dream location for a hiking camp look like?

The spot where Jeanette pitched her Nortent Vern 1 certainly ticks many of the boxes for the perfect camp—stunning scenery, rugged nature, and an incredible setting to explore.

Now we want to see your dream campsites! Share your photos or videos with us and show us where you would pitch your tent.

Standard paths don't lead to places like this. About 1000m above sea level, pure magic.
