Release day! DEATH BY DEFAULT is now out!

We received the vinyl yesterday and spent last night assembling the packaging and the overly detailed comic book, so for now it’s available from Crispin Glover Record Shop in Trondheim. It will ship out to distributors shortly. Digitally, it’s out on all major platforms. Check it out!

DEATH BY DEFAULT is something of a stylistic reset to GOAT THE HEAD factory settings. It is raw and primitive. Unpolished and unpleasant. The musical intention was to draw inspiration from orthodox Swedish death metal, a commitment that led us to have the legendary Tomas Skogsberg mix the album at his Sunlight Studios outside Stockholm. Both lyrically and visually, the album draws on a selection of autobiographical moments gathered across the band’s quarter-century endurance.
