Like most of you, we have spent the week watching the news from Rasuwa and wondering what would actually help.

The flood of 26 August destroyed homes, roads and whole settlements in Rasuwa and down the Trishuli valley. Thousands of families are still looking for someone, and getting them through this is going to take all of us.

The Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund is where the government has asked us to send help. Give at pmdrf.nchl.com.np.

If you are reading this from outside Nepal, cards work in rupees or dollars.

We have sent one lakh rupees to start, and until 5 September ten percent of every order on booksmandala.com goes to the fund as well.
