As the days stretch out and warmth creeps back into the air, our evening skies take just a little longer to reach pristine, ink-black darkness. That means starting tonight, our evening stargazing departures shift to 9:00 PM for our first session!

And for the real night owls, our second departure is scheduled at 11:00 PM!

Did you know Akaroa is the closest dark sky experience to Christchurch? Just 90 minutes from the city centre, nestled inside an ancient volcanic crater, our dark skies offer mind-blowing views of distant nebulae and star clusters without the long drive south.
