Absolutely not. If there is a passion for the ocean and sustainably sourcing your own food to feed your family and friends, or simply being immersed in the underwater world, give it a go! 🐟

It can be scary and overwhelming, but with the right gear, eagerness to learn and consistency, it could open up many doors.

For myself, in such a short period of time I have dived many places, met legendary divers, shot amazing fish, started competitive diving, but made many mistakes along the way which I’ve learnt from.

Wettie, is something that is so much more than a brand, but rather a community of people who live and breathe diving. The passion is real.

With no knowledge to begin with, I have slowly grown my confidence in my diving ability and the gear that I use in the water.

Piece of advice: life is too short to make excuses, give something new a go and see what evolves! ⭐

A rich, creamy, deeply fulfilling seafood chowder is one of life's true pleasures. Simple ingredients, allowed to speak for themselves.

You can use pre-made seafood stock, homemade seafood stock from your own fish frames, or even chicken stock as your base.

Making your own stock is super easy, just boil water and add fish frames, vege off cuts or rough cut veges (carrots, onions, celery etc). Some salt, pepper and thyme, allow it to simmer for 45 minutes, then strain all the bits out until you have a nice clean stock.
