The fox should not be in charge of the henhouse.

In an open letter to New Zealand agriculture Ian Ferguson shares his frustration about what he describes as a looming “nuclear moment” for New Zealand’s “green economy”.

Ian pulls no punches, challenging the politicians’ narrative and chillingly says New Zealand has invested in the wrong science, which has led to the wrong outcomes. It’s a compellingly cautionary tale.

Having lost the majority vote, he says if New Zealand agriculture – the backbone of this economy – continues to roll over, it will be fully exposed to political and economic disruptions.

He calls for inspirational leadership – with no political agenda – to champion New Zealand agriculture and future-proof the industry.

𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲® fertilisers are a proven way to comply with the 190kg N / Ha cap without dropping production.

Quite the contrary in fact as trials on top dairy farms have proven conclusively where less Nitrogen was applied as 𝗖𝗥𝗡𝟰𝟰 90-120day in one application compared to the traditional 4
hits of Urea, with the result 𝗖𝗥𝗡𝟰𝟰 produced 66% more DM at a lower cost!!

Nitrogen in the root zone is nutrient, below that it is a pollutant.

Avoid unnecessary and expensive N losses by using 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲®
𝗖𝗥𝗡𝐊 90-120 day release N at 70-80 % the rate you would normally apply Urea, but only do it only once instead of 3-4 times.

Does 𝗥𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲® 𝗖𝗥𝗡𝗞 work better on light soils than heavier soils?

It certainly is smart to use on light soils, especially those that are intensively irrigated, as it only releases N slowly which plant roots absorb rapidly so losses are minimal. On heavier soils leaching is often not such an issue, but the steady release to the crop or pasture is very beneficial.
