🍷 MIRAE VINEYARD — AMPHORA PINOT NOIR 2025 🍷

150 bottles. One tiny vineyard. One seriously intriguing Pinot Noir 🍷

From James & Marie Suckling’s Mirae Vineyard in Martinborough, comes a remarkably limited 2025 Pinot Noir made with an uncompromising focus on site, fruit and traditional vessels. 🇳🇿

🌿 Mirae Vineyard is a tiny 1.8-hectare vineyard, with vines dating back to 1986 and organically farmed.

🍇 The 2025 vintage includes fruit from ungrafted Pommard Clone 6 with some Clone 5

🏺 The fruit was destemmed and placed into terracotta amphora for spontaneous fermentation with natural yeasts, before continuing its élevage in amphora.

The result is a Pinot Noir that steps away from the familiar. Amphora brings a different dimension to the w**e — allowing the fruit and vineyard character to take centre stage while developing texture, savoury complexity and depth.

A truly special Pinot Noir from Gibbston, Central Otago — crafted from the tiny Twilight Vineyard, located around 450m above sea level.

✨ In the glass:
Elegant and perfumed, with aromas of lilac, rose petals, mulberry, red cherry and plum, complemented by delicate sandalwood and baking spice.

🍒 On the palate:
Beautiful layers of red fruit and spice, bright acidity and fine, silky tannins. A refined Pinot Noir showing the elegance and finesse of Gibbston.
