Having just returned from the homeland Aitutaki with my little family we also had the opportunity to spend an afternoon on Tapuaetai, I'm reminded that our Islands are rich in culture and I only wished that more people knew of these riches and therefore had a more indepth experience of our island.

If you've ever been to Aitutaki, seen her beautiful lagoon, set foot on Tapuaetai (One Foot Island), even had your passport stamped - you will need this book. If you haven't had any of the above, then you definitely would love this book. Tapuaetai, as retold by author Clinton Hewitt with original illustrations. Translated to Kuki Airani Maori by John Tepaki and Anna Elia.
