We have a fantastic range of merchandise for sale, including the largest range of Funko Pop! The shop is on Hurstmere Road, Takapuna, not far from the intersection with Lake Road.

CARD MARKET AUCKLAND THIS WEEKEND
Retrospace will be attending, the shop is also open as usual!
On Sunday 1 November, Card Market takes over the New Zealand International Convention Centre in the heart of Auckland.
From the team behind Auckland Card Show, Card Market is a dedicated day for collectors, traders, players and hobby fans to buy, sell, trade and discover cards.
Expect hundreds of tables packed with trading cards, sealed product, singles, collectibles and plenty of opportunities to find something for your collection.
Whether you're hunting for a grail, looking to move some cards, building a deck or just want to spend a day surrounded by the hobby and the incredible people in it - Card Market Auckland is for you!

Captain Custard book signing at Retrospace this weekend!

If your kids love comics, Captain Custard is definitely worth checking out!

Captain Custard is a kid friendly comic, written and illustrated by Richard Stevens.

Captain Custard is about the crew of the SGS Tartanium – a team of intergalactic peacekeepers who, with the help of their leader, Captain Custard, wind up in more trouble than they manage to prevent.

Come and meet the author, grab a book and get it signed — the signing will be:

The Auckland Hobbies Fair is on today!
September 12 2026 , 11am-3pm
Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre, 595 Te Atatu Rd, Te Atatū Peninsula, Auckland
Retrospace is involved in running this event, and also has a large stand there.
Over 100 exhibitors. The last time this event was held earlier this year it attracted 1000 people.
The Takapuna shop remains open as usual.

The Auckland Hobbies fair is one of New Zealand’s largest Toy Fairs for sci-fi Toys, Diecast models, collectible toys, Lego, working models, and much more. It is held twice a year.

Toy fair includes:
Dinky, Corgi, Lledo, Matchbox, Hotwheels, Solido, Minichamps, Spot-On, Fun-Ho, Hot-Wheels, Diecast models, old tin plate toys, Meccano, model trains and accessories, toy soldiers, kitsets, Doctor Who, Star Wars, Batman, TV themes, Masters of the Universe, Action figures, McDonalds toys, dolls & bears, miniatures, DVDs, books, magazines, records, plastic models, planes and more.
Eftpos and cash out facilities available. Drinks and food are available on-site to purchase.

Retrospace will be at this event with full eftpos & credit card facilities.
