And so, the end is near…..

As Frankie boy himself sang, it's the final curtain. We've no option but to close the doors of The Wine Vault for good. We're going out with a bang (actually a clearance sale, next Saturday at Hopscotch). More details to follow….

CHEERS! Here's to the end of 15 years in Grey Lynn.
We're having a wee farewell on Tuesday night, 7-9pm (possibly longer) to mark this sober (but not too sober) moment in history.
Bring a bottle if you wish, and come say goodbye. It's been good, and we *may* be back, but who knows what the future holds..............

So there's still a bunch of scrummy wine and beer in store, as well as some sparkly new glassware, and it ALL NEEDS TO GO!!!!!!!
mark downs vary depending on the item, but there's up to 25% off drinkables, and up to 50% off glassware and perishables like cheese, chocolates, and cookies.

Well! The times they are a-changing.
We love Grey Lynn, and Grey Lynn loves us, so hopefully this is a hurdle that only lasts a month:
WE'RE GETTING THE BOOT!!!!!!!!!!

Our lease is expiring end of the month, and the building up for auction. We are out in the cold in but a few weeks, despite the best efforts.
The hope is that the new building owner will want a tenant who can move in immediately, for which TWV is an obvious choice. But, just in case, the hunt is on for alternate premises around the area, so keep an eye and an ear out please!
Last week of May we will be posting some clearance specials, (the less to move the better, hey) so start saving those pennies, and throughout June we will be running an internet-only operation, with frequent deliveries around the hood just to help make your life easier. So do not lament, there are still some tasty, well priced, independent wines on offer, just dropped to your door instead of around the corner.

Please share, we would like alllllll the locals to know that even when we go, it's not over!

Crikey our last post was quite a while ago! Anyway we've got a couple of 12 year old boys setting up an impromptu garage sale here at The Wine Vault, (all kids toys/X Box games/kids books). Come along for a bargain. Plus, there are some tasty wines open to try as well if Nerf guns don't do it for you.
