We are New Zealand's premier manufacturer of fishing rods and fishing rod blanks. Since 1999 CTS has constantly strived to develop new manufacturing techniques, materials and tooling profiles. We invest heavily in our design and production tools, with much of our in-house machinery being custom built in order to cater for the ever-increasing demand for stronger, lighter and more highly refined blanks. The rest of the world is our proving ground.

Congratulations to Stefano De Martini, for winning gold in Trout Distance (Senior Men) at the 2026 Fly Casting World Championship in Vinadio, Italy.

Ten years of work, discipline and dedication. One of the most technical disciplines in fly casting, where precision, control and power have to come together in every cast.

He did it with the CTS Competition Cast 9.0 TD, a rod developed in close collaboration with Stefano for the demands of world-level competition.

Congratulations Stefano! We're proud to be part of the journey. 👏

Il progetto nasce su di un blank completamente in UD glass dalle caratteristiche e performance eccezionali.
Una leggerezza, reattività ed elasticità incredibili ed impensabili da realizzare con la fibra di vetro solo fino a qualche anno fa...
Curata al massimo in estetica "vintage", la rod nasce per provare a stanare fario e marmorate in fondovalle "tenui", ma non farà rimpiangere affatto nemmeno i bassmen "old style" più incalliti ed amanti di hard topwaters e crankbaits 😃
