Il progetto nasce su di un blank completamente in UD glass dalle caratteristiche e performance eccezionali.
Una leggerezza, reattività ed elasticità incredibili ed impensabili da realizzare con la fibra di vetro solo fino a qualche anno fa...
Curata al massimo in estetica "vintage", la rod nasce per provare a stanare fario e marmorate in fondovalle "tenui", ma non farà rimpiangere affatto nemmeno i bassmen "old style" più incalliti ed amanti di hard topwaters e crankbaits 😃

It has been a while since I last posted a rod build. This is a stunning Quartz glass 8ft 5wt in the honey colour paired with a piece of dyed and stabilised black heart sasafras for the reel seat and a perfect agate stripping guide. The owner was worried that the blank was too bright so I toned down the guide wraps and went clear silk. I don't mind a bit of colour in my fly rods! And the trout don't seem to mind 🙂
