The wait is almost over.

The buckets are ready. The packing tables are spotless. The boxes are stacked.

And out in the fields, the first peonies are getting ready to make their entrance.

There’s something special about this moment that quiet pause before the season begins, when everything is prepared and the anticipation starts to build.

Soon, Jo Smith first fresh-cut coral peonies will be making their way from Nelson fields to beautiful homes across New Zealand.

The season is coming. And it’s going to be beautiful.
