Before the walls close up, this is where a lot of the work happens.

At Te Pae School, our team worked through the prewire stage installing network and security cabling, access control infrastructure, CCTV runs and the pathways needed to support the finished systems.

Cable routes, penetrations, repositioning and variations all had to be coordinated as the build progressed.

Most of it disappears once the school is finished but getting this stage right is what makes everything work later.

Te Pai School, Redhill.

A project that started behind the walls and finished with the infrastructure in place to support a connected and secure school environment.

Safe N Sound delivered the network, security and access control systems, along with provision for CCTV and audio, working across the project from prewire through to installation and commissioning.

As the build progressed, our team also worked through changes to cable routes, access requirements and additional network runs to keep everything coordinated with the wider construction programme.

A lot of this work is designed to disappear once the building is complete. What matters is that the systems behind it are planned properly and ready to perform every day.

Sometimes the smallest details make the biggest difference to the finished installation.

For this project, we designed a custom 3D-printed maglock shroud to offset the lock from the corner of the post and conceal the power cable feeding into it.
