Yarnfloozy Home of Bespoke Yarn. Created by a yarn enthusiast with a love for colour. Hi! I am Catrien, the face behind Yarnfloozy yarns.

I am based in Auckland, New Zealand, where I live with my husband and three kids. Our home is nestled in the beautiful Waitakere bush and on the cusp of the wild west beaches, both of which serve as much of the inspiration behind my work. When I am not creating I can be found out and about with my family enjoying nature, most likely with my feet in the sand and the ocean breeze in my hair, fuelled by a good coffee! Hello hello! I am back after a little break to recharge and spend some time with my family, I’ll share more soon!

While I was away Socktober kicked off in style over at L O O P I N E W O O L | Yarn Store 🧦 How exciting! Are you knitting some socks?! I would love to see your sock efforts this month!

I am test knitting the Vltava Sweater by Skeinny Dippin // Alex a classic silhouette and it is making me fall in love with the ‘Autumn Bark’ colourway all over again 🤩

I joined in with the felted slippers fun happening at L O O P I N E W O O L | Yarn Store 🤩

Knitted them one day and felted them the next! The fit is perfect and now the family requests are rolling in 😁

I used 3 balls of Woolly DK purchased from L O O P I N E W O O L | Yarn Store for my small feet… next up is some men’s size 13 - I’ll report back!
