Is it better to patch or replace carpet?

We get asked this a lot, and it comes down to multiple factors.

How new is it the carpet? How many areas has been damaged? Is there spare carpet? What is your budget?

Generally, if it is quite new and you have remnants or off cuts, the damaged area hasn’t had any traffic through it then yes it is worth it.

On the flip side, if there are multiple stains, damage throughout the room, then maybe look at what’s more cost effective new or patching.
