Next build on the go is the excellent Ferrari F80! This kit is absolutely stunning, heaps of parts which all seem to fit perfectly together, incredible detail, lots & lots of carbon fibre (which is clear - full post on this coming soon) there’s a few 3D printed parts including the rear mesh, usual photoetch pieces & a few livery & decal options, not entirely sure on the flaming Horse decals, looks kinda cool but I’m not that brave… I have chosen a pretty Wild spec after spending countless hours on the Ferrari configuration website…

Next build on the go is the excellent Ferrari F80! Completed the new 1/24 PZY Models RB26 engine kit. Absolutely stunning kit, builds beautifully, lots of details to it, I added hose clamps even though I struggled with them a little. I decided to build a Nur Spec engine so painted the heads Nissan Light Gold & played around with differing blacks, different aluminium & silver colours. The engine is slightly larger than a Tamiya engine, I reckon you could get it to fit if you wanted, but this little engine kit deserves to be displayed on its own (& they even supply a little 3D printed pallet to place it on.
Overall absolutely blown away by this little engine kit, highly recommended!!! Go get one from HobbySpot or your local dealer!!!

This is 1/24 RB26 full detail engine kit! Absolutely amazing detail, I’ve tried to use differing shades of silver, aluminium & blacks to give this engine some depth. 44 parts + photoetch! Really nice little kit!!

Next Project on the bench - Mazda RX2 Racecar

This is an old Entex kit from the 70s, comes with an electric motor etc & is quite rare, it’s also 1/20 scale.
I’ll be replicating a NZ Racecar which is a replica of a 70s Japanese racecar for a very special owner.
Lots of modifications to make to this one, plenty of 3D parts, custom decals etc, I’ll be using Slowly Models 13b Rotary engine. I’ll post updates as I go!

Next Project on the bench - Mazda RX2 Racecar

This is an old Entex kit from the 70s, comes with an electric motor etc & is quite rare, it’s also 1/20 scale.
I’ll be replicating a NZ Racecar which is a replica of a 70s Japanese racecar for a very special owner.
