Winter blues getting to you?
We have plenty planned to get you out in the park!

Next working bee scheduled Saturday 13th June... a morning of mahi, followed by a sausage sizzle, and bring your bike for an afternoon reaping the rewards of riding the tracks after your amazing contribution!

Don’t leave it until tomorrow. That’ll be too late. If you or the young person in your house wants to race then they need to register by midnight tonight. Yeah 7 & 8 Intermediates have a different method of registration compared to High Schools and Colleges so go on line and check it out. The weather is looking mint so it should be a great days racing.

Our first big day back on the tracks this Winter undertaking the works on Tom as part of the Track Renewal Programme. Over the years the tracks have taken a pounding from the many thousands of bikes and their riders. Each picking up that little bit of dirt in the treads that has resulted in the formation of the deep smooth wear trench that you can see in many sections of the track. If nothing was done it would result in frustrating peddle strikes across the trail network. Eventually you need to undertake these types of significant works to reset the level of the track surface. Awesome work from our contractor Holland Landscaping & Garden Services. Mean job boys. Our thanks also to the Manurewa Local Board for the funding to enable the club to undertake this work. Back into it next Friday and every Friday until we got the job done. Stay safe, ride safe all.

A wet and muddy ladies ride this afternoon, with some sun creeping in once we got moving! But that rain while I tried to start us off 🙄😅

Great to have some new riders come along that couldn't make our evenings! Might need to double up in Summer with evenings AND weekends 😜🚴‍♀️
