We recently got some micro-fleece beanies made- what do you think? We will also have them in navy blue in a few weeks.

It’s definitely getting warmer here on Tiritiri Matangi Island but we might still need our beanies if we get some southerlies.

We also have caps and sun hats for the incoming summer 🤠

All proceeds from our sales go towards conservation and education on this special Island in Tīkapa Moana/Hauraki Gulf 🫶

Some new goods from Wellington artist; Eliza of Shaxu Gift have arrived on the motu 😍

These drink bottles, notepads and stickers are all decorated with Eliza’s original watercolour paintings; she is inspired by the biodiversity of Aotearoa, New Zealand.
NZ species from different parts of our ecosystems are represented:🐬marine life, 🌸 flowers, 🐞 insects, 🐦 birds & 🍄 fungi!

We managed to get a few of these awesome limited edition tees in our own colour way- thanks Melissa! 😊
The design features many birds that can be found on Tiritiri Matangi Island (kōkako, hihi, kākāriki, takahē, tīeke, pāteke, toutouwai, kiwi, tūī, titipounamu, korimako & pōpokotea)

For the crafters - Tiritiri Matangi has it’s very own cross stitch kit 🤩

The creative mind behind Orderly Stitching developed this design after visiting the Island. The pattern features the lighthouse and a tīeke/saddleback amongst the flora.

The kit comes with absolutely everything you need to make the design- all the materials including a needle & hoop and the pattern.

Exciting news- Our 2027 calendar has arrived on the Island! 🗓

We have been producing fundraising calendars for many years now - the diversity and beauty of the natural environment and all its inhabitants never cease to amaze!

From fungi to manu/bird, from the tide line to the lighthouse - enjoy the scenes from Tiritiri Matangi Island from wherever you are.

Thank-you to all who have contributed so generously to the creation of the 2027 Calendar; the photographers, the designer and the volunteer coordinators.

All proceeds from the sale of the calendars will go towards conservation & education programmes on the Island.

🌿 A4 size pages
🌿 Each spread has 1x full page image and 3-4 smaller images on the opposite page
🌿 A mix of flora, fauna and landscape images capture life on the motu
🌿 Day, month & species names appear in both English and Te Reo Māori
🌿 NZ public holidays and full/new moons marked

Cute new stickers have arrived on the Island from talented NZ creative ArteloCat 🐣

These playfully illustrated companions come in three different sheets; two are birds and one of geckos!🦎

They are UV & Weather resistant- take your “chonky friends” with you- stick them to your drink bottle, laptop, phone, or diary. 😄

An order from melissa boardman | NZ bird illustrator arrived today! 🥳

We are now restocked with her lovely cards, stickers and enamel pins.
For the collectors, there are 4 new pins; tīeke/saddleback, pōpokotea/whitehead, kārearea/NZ falcon & weweia/NZ dabchick 😍

Bird of the Year is upon us (voting opens tomorrow) and Melissa is repping the weweia/NZ Dabchick. She has sent us some of her promo materials - these birds don’t live on Tiritiri Matangi Island but it’s great to learn more about them!
